AWANA

(Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

Awana is an elementary educational ministry that focuses on discipleship through small group Bible intake. Each night our kids play an exciting game, they are led in age appropriate Bible lessons, and they work on Bible memorization that goes along with their lessons. We have fun incentives built into the program. Their incentives include awards for completing lessons, and we have an Awana store where students can spend the "money" they have earned for participation.

Awana is broken into three age groups: Cubbies (Pre-K), Sparks (K-2nd grade), and T&T (3rd-6th). Each student will receive a handbook, uniform, and bag that has their club's theme on it. Nan Ritter directly oversees Awana as the Director with the help of our Secretary, Carolyn Manuel. Kay Sonnier is currently teaching the Cubbies class. Jody Savoie teaches the Sparks. T&T is divided into two groups led by Vanessa Kightlinger and Jane Ortego.

If you are interested in having your child participate, it is not too late to sign your child up by clicking the Awana banner above. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church at 337-738-2201, and ask for Andy Buzzard.
